The CFB urgently needs more space to keep up with the existing and future demands of our growing community. Our current building is severely outdated, presents significant accessibility barriers and safety issues, and lacks adequate space and functionality to effectively meet the needs of members, staff, and our donors.

The Mobile Food Bank has become something I genuinely look forward to.
Being able to simply step outside and receive a bag of fresh, local produce is incredibly convenient. Between this and it helping community, it is a great service for Cambridge!"
With growing uncertainty and rising anxiety about food security, many are asking: will I have enough to eat, and will it be healthy? The Cambridge Food Bank has been a reliable resource for our community, providing food when money is tight and pantries are empty. But it’s more than just food distribution—it’s about respecting dignity and promoting health with nutritious options. The Cambridge Food Bank welcomes everyone to shop, regardless of economic status, removing barriers and guilt. We all need help at times. The Cambridge Food Bank serves not just those on the margins, but the whole community. This is why Temple Baptist Church has partnered with them for years to provide this essential service
The Cambridge Food Bank's (CFB) unique food rescue programs significantly reduce food waste, creating substantial social, environmental, and financial impacts in our community. In the past year, the flash program alone has diverted over 7,937 kg of food from landfills, valued at approximately $22,000. By partnering with Conestoga College in applied research, the CFB nurtures future leaders by providing our students with invaluable experiences that help them address complex societal challenges through cross-disciplinary teamwork.
At Collectivfide Insurance Group, we’ve volunteered with the Cambridge Food Bank for several years and are continually inspired by their commitment to more than just food support. From their mobile food market that brings fresh, healthy produce directly into underserved neighbourhoods, to mental wellness programs and parenting support groups, the Cambridge Food Bank meets people where they are—both physically and emotionally. They remove barriers with dignity, ensuring everyone feels welcome and cared for. It's a privilege to support an organization so deeply woven into the fabric of our community
The Cambridge Food Bank distinguishes itself through its holistic approach to food security, offering programs like the Mobile Food Market that bring fresh, affordable produce directly into our neighbourhoods. Their commitment to dignity and accessibility ensures that everyone, regardless of circumstance, feels welcome and supported. By addressing not just hunger but the underlying factors contributing to food insecurity, they make a profound and lasting impact on our community. The Cambridge Muslim Society is proud to support their mission and stands in solidarity with their efforts to build a more equitable and compassionate Cambridge
