When you give to the Cambridge Food Bank, you are creating brighter futures for our neighbours in need. The Cambridge Food Bank offers food and supports to people experiencing food insecurity in Cambridge and North Dumfries.
Our goal is to build health and belonging through food, education and advocacy. Specifically, by offering food and wellness programs that nourish bellies, minds, and souls – giving folks the opportunity to lift themselves out of the cycle of poverty that affects too many families in our community.

Poverty and food insecurity significantly impact health. Families living on a low income are often not able to afford fresh food, like fruit and vegetables, which play a key role in maintaining good health. Many low-income families have to rely on food that is inexpensive and filling, rather than food that is high in nutrients. With this in mind, it is our goal to increase access to fresh and nutritious food.

We offer a broad range of nutrition and wellness programming for the whole family. Our kitchen and wellness hub use food to bring people together, fostering independence through interdependence.

Sponsorship Events
Sponsorship Opportunities can include your brand being represented through many events such as
A market on wheels bringing fresh, affordable produce to 13 neighbourhoods throughout Cambridge and North Dumfries.
Volunteers spend a day connecting with and educating grocery store customers with the goal of filling a cargo van to the brim with our most needed items.
Giving is contagious. These are opportunities for businesses or individuals to pledge to match up to a certain amount of what is raised during a campaign.
