Welcoming Week is a time to celebrate the people, places, and values that create a sense of belonging for everyone.
From September 12–22, 2025, events across the region will highlight how we can come together to build a stronger, more connected community.
Join us at the Cambridge Food Bank (54 Ainslie St. South) on Thursday, September 18, from 2:00–5:00 pm for our Mobile Food Market and a warm welcome to the community!
We’ll be serving free samples of hearty soup made from the market’s fresh, seasonal produce and sharing tips on how to make the most of your weekly basket.

- Meet our friendly team and learn about upcoming classes and activities
- Take home recipe cards and a Welcome Week resource bag (limited to the first 50 visitors)
Enjoy the sounds of live ukulele music, interact with our youth activity station, and see how the Mobile Food Market is more than just a place for fresh food. It’s a hub for community, wellness, and connection.
